A young woman travels from the Netherlands to Suriname. Once arrived at the Sans Souci plantation, she demarcates a piece of land with a colourful ribbon. In the middel of the parcel she plants a flag. Does this soil, where here great-great-greatgrandmother Zaïre was forced to work, belong to her family?
